Hanford food distribution 11/15/2025
Reserva De La Casa came to Hanford, CA with one purpose—to embrace the farmworkers and families who give so much of themselves so that our nation may eat. These are the hands that harvest our food, the hearts that rise before dawn, and the souls that labor in the heat and cold with quiet strength.
We and the Knights of Columbus arrived carrying a Box of Hope—100 pounds of rice, beans, sugar, Maseca flour, and cooking oil—so that their homes could be filled with the comfort of a warm meal. We brought the Gift of Warmth—coats, jackets, socks, shoes, and clothing—because no hardworking family should face the cold alone. And we offered a Shower of Love—diapers, toys, clothing, and essentials for their little ones—reminding every parent that their children are seen, valued, and loved.
It was more than a distribution.
More than 100 youths—from across the Central Valley—came with joyful spirits, ready to serve and to show our farmworkers that they are not forgotten. Their energy and compassion brought hope, light, and strength to the day.
Every family received a turkey to bring home, a small but heartfelt blessing to help them gather around their tables with dignity and joy.
In their smiles, their tears, and their blessings, we witnessed the true meaning of love in action—community, compassion, and the grace of God moving through every moment.
Reserva De La Casa llegó a Hanford, California, con un propósito: acoger a los trabajadores agrícolas y a sus familias, quienes tanto entregan de sí mismos para que nuestra nación pueda alimentarse. Son las manos que cosechan nuestros alimentos, los corazones que se levantan antes del amanecer y las almas que trabajan bajo el calor y el frío con una fortaleza silenciosa.
Nosotros, junto con los Caballeros de Colón, llegamos portando una "Caja de Esperanza" —con 100 libras de arroz, frijoles, azúcar, harina Maseca y aceite de cocina— para que sus hogares pudieran llenarse con el consuelo de una comida caliente. Llevamos el "Regalo de Calor" —abrigos, chaquetas, calcetines, zapatos y ropa— porque ninguna familia trabajadora debería enfrentar el frío en soledad. Y ofrecimos una "Lluvia de Amor" —pañales, juguetes, ropa y artículos esenciales para los más pequeños— recordando a cada padre y madre que sus hijos son vistos, valorados y amados.
Fue más que una simple distribución.
Más de 100 jóvenes —provenientes de todo el Valle Central— acudieron con alegría, listos para servir y demostrar a nuestros trabajadores agrícolas que no han sido olvidados. Su energía y compasión aportaron esperanza, luz y fortaleza a la jornada. Cada familia recibió un pavo para llevar a casa; una bendición pequeña pero sincera para ayudarles a reunirse alrededor de la mesa con dignidad y alegría.
En sus sonrisas, sus lágrimas y sus bendiciones, fuimos testigos del verdadero significado del amor en acción: comunidad, compasión y la gracia de Dios manifestándose en cada momento.
